MISSION

The purpose of the Senior Life Enhancement Group is to provide nutrition, assessment, referral, and adult day services to eligible Wayne County seniors so they can remain in a home environment.

PROGRAMS

Senior Day (Adult Day Program)
The purpose of the Senior Day Program is to provide recreation, counseling, and out of home respite to Wayne County seniors and their caregivers so they can remain in a home environment longer.

Nutrition and Home-Based
The purpose of the Wayne County Senior Nutrition and Home-Based Program is to provide nutrition and in-home support services to eligible Wayne County senior citizens so they can live independently in a safe and healthy environment.

Commodity Foods
The purpose of the Wayne County Commodity Food Program is to provide additional food to Wayne County income-eligible households each month so they can adequately supplement their basic food needs.
